From 10 to 12 July, the Lucca Exhibition Centre will once again become the national hub for trading card enthusiasts for two days, hosting one of the largest, most popular and best-known tournaments amongst fans of ‘Magic: The Gathering’: ‘Paupergeddon’.

Following the success of the spring edition, Europe’s largest gathering of the card game community – which has attracted millions of fans worldwide since the 1990s – returns in a special summer edition.

One of the most important events in Europe dedicated to the game’s Pauper format (a deck of common cards), in true Lucca Comics & Games style, allowing visitors to experience a taste of the festival atmosphere 365 days a year. 
 
Admission is free and open to everyone – from the curious to the passionate – with stands from Italy’s leading specialist shops, and the chance to meet many national and international artists, including Dany Orizio, Domenico Cava, Michele Giorgi, Raluca Marinescu, Irina Nordsol, Paolo Parente and Andrea Piparo, gathered in a high-calibre fantasy ‘artist alley’. 

Among the guests is comedian Marco Marzocca, an actor and impressionist beloved by the general public and a keen enthusiast of this hobby.
