Medaglie Pontificie nell'anno giubilare (Papal Medals in the Jubilee Year). The Fondazione Antica Zecca di Lucca presents an interesting exhibition dedicated to the official Papal Medals of the Papal State, first, and the Vatican City State, later. Medals minted by the Vatican under the various Pontificates over the years, in gold, silver and bronze.
The exhibition, from May 2025 to May 2026, is set up in the premises of the Museo dell'Antica Zecca di Lucca, on the City Walls, Casermetta San Donato.
The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday at 9:30 a.m. / 12:30 p.m. - 2 p.m. / 5 p.m. and on weekends when the museum is open, according to the calendar that can be downloaded from the museum's website, or, even at different times, by appointment. Inauguration of the exhibition on Monday 5 May at 5 p.m.
