Echi di Luce (Echoes of Light) was born as an encounter between different sensibilities, between memory and contemporaneity, between the ancient silence of a church and the new light brought by the works collected here.
A collective exhibition promoted by the ArteBellariva APS Association of Florence, in collaboration with UCAI Lucca, in the Romanesque church of San Cristoforo in the central Via Fillungo, a place that holds centuries of history and still retains an intense and silent aura, capable of welcoming and amplifying the voice of contemporary art.
On display are the works of twenty-three painters, one photographer and two sculptors, brought together in an exhibition dedicated to the poetic vision of life and the search for human, spiritual and enlightening interiority.
On the opening day, writer and journalist Jacopo Chiostri will give a critical commentary. The artistic director is Simonetta Fontani, a Florentine artist with extensive exhibition experience in Italy and abroad.
The exhibition is open from 13 to 21 December from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Opening on Saturday 13 December at 5 p.m.
