Lucca Summer Festival is considered one of the greatest summer events in Tuscany has come to its 26th edition.

A month full of concerts with international artists performing on the stage of Piazza Napoleone and the area below the city walls, to enjoy great music and entertainment in the summer nights of Lucca.

A leading figure in British music, Morrissey is considered one of the greatest lyricists of his generation and one of the most influential voices in world pop. First with The Smiths, a band that made an indelible mark on music history with only four albums, and then with an extraordinary solo career that led him to release thirteen studio albums, Morrissey created a repertoire that continues to inspire and enthuse millions of fans worldwide. Tracks such as ‘This Charming Man’, ‘How Soon Is Now?’, ‘There Is A Light That Never Goes Out’, ‘Suedehead’, ‘Everyday Is Like Sunday’, ‘Irish Blood, English Heart’ and ‘First of the Gang to Die’ have become generational anthems, making his style unmistakable and his voice among the most recognisable ever.

Throughout his career, Morrissey has won numerous accolades, including an Ivor Novello Award for outstanding contribution to British music, and was recently awarded the 2024 Social Vanguard Award for his commitment to animal rights.
