Europe’s leading community event dedicated to comics, board games, video games, animation and fantasy is celebrating its 60th anniversary from 28 October to 1 November 2026.

The heart of the comics section remains Piazza Napoleone and the surrounding squares, whilst exhibitions are hosted at Palazzo Guinigi and other venues in the historic centre. eSports will be based at the Palazzetto dello Sport.

The diverse worlds of board games will be at the Padiglione Carducci, and video games at Piazzale Verdi, in the Cavallerizza area; Lucca Junior will transform the Real Collegio into the Family Palace, whilst the world of Japan will take over the spacious venues of the Polo Fiere di Lucca. Make way for the cosplayers hosted in the Giardino degli Osservanti and in villas and palaces for photo shoots.

Access to the 15 areas where the festival is held, to the exhibitions and to the pavilions is permitted to holders of a named ticket, with the exception of the exhibitions at Palazzo Guinigi, which are free to enter.
