Lucca Summer Festival is considered one of the greatest summer events in Tuscany has come to its 27th edition.

A month full of concerts with international artists performing on the stage of Piazza Napoleone and the area below the city walls, to enjoy great music and entertainment in the summer nights of Lucca.

A great return to the Lucca Summer Festival. Zucchero's unmistakable voice, his repertoire rich in songs that have marked entire generations, and his overwhelming stage presence will give life to a show of pure energy, strictly live, designed to enhance the dialogue between music and place.

On stage will be his loyal superband of great international musicians: Polo Jones (musical director, bass), Kat Dyson (guitars, backing vocals), Peter Vettese (Hammond organ, piano and synth), Mario Schilirò (guitars), Adriano Molinari (drums), Nicola Peruch (keyboards), Monica Mz Carter (drums and percussion), James Thompson (wind instruments, backing vocals), Lazaro Amauri Oviedo Dilout (wind instruments), Carlos Minoso (wind instruments) and Oma Jali (backing vocals).

One of the leading international performers of rock blues, Zucchero has sold over 60 million records and taken his music all over the world. The first Western artist to perform at the Kremlin after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the only Italian to have participated in the Woodstock Festival, he has played on five continents, in 69 countries and over 650 cities during his career, collaborating with some of the biggest names in world music.

In 2024, he celebrated 35 years of Overdose (D'Amore) with an international tour, while the “Overdose D'Amore Gold” project represents a new, powerful synthesis of his artistic journey, combining energy, memory and contemporary vision.
