Palazzo Guinigi. Via Guinigi, 29 - Lucca
Fioriture is an immersive journey into the poetic universe of Lucca-based artist Mauro Lovi, featuring over 260 works spread across 22 rooms at Palazzo Guinigi, which trace more than fifty years of creative exploration across drawing, painting, sculpture, design and installation.
An exhibition, running from 12 June to 14 August 2026, featuring historic works from the 1970s right up to his most recent pieces. A journey through memories, inner geometries and emotional landscapes.
A large section is dedicated to "Casa nella scatola" (House in a Box), the book created for Comieco 20 years ago. This room features several works taken from the book: 10 large pencil drawings and the work "Anime dove passa meglio il vento" (Souls Where the Wind Blows Best), created using the cores of paper rolls from paper mills at life-size.
The retrospective section presents a selection of works ranging from the 1970s to the early 2000s, featuring large graphite and pencil drawings, large paintings, small sculptures, design objects and an installation. The upper floor is dedicated to contemporary work, where the use of installations and objects becomes more pronounced; the paintings are arranged in series that become emotional maps, and an interesting experience is the immersive installation that reflects on existential geometry and transforms the space into a sensory experience.
The exhibition is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 4 pm to 8 pm.
