Events

Maestro Paolo Fresu, renowned Italian jazz trumpeter and flugelhorn player, as well as composer and arranger, whose unique sound is recognised as one of the most distinctive in the contemporary jazz scene, will be the guest of honour at the Christmas concert of the Gaetano Luporini Philharmonic Orchestra of San Gennaro, on Sunday 21 December at 5.30 pm, at the Audiotrium Chiesa di San Francesco.

The programme includes Christmas songs and international hits, as well as original instrumental pieces for band inspired by the Christmas tradition.

During the concert, in keeping with a charming tradition that has become established over the years, a piece for trumpet and band will be performed, composed especially for the Philharmonic by Prof. Paolo Razzuoli and orchestrated by Maestro Giampaolo Lazzeri.   

Accordionist Massimo Signorini will also take part.
