The 2025 dance season of the Teatro del Giglio /Puccini artistic and cultural reference and Tradition Theatre of Lucca, together with prose and dance shows, from classical to contemporary, offers 4 shows plus one at the Nieri Theatre in Ponte a MOriano.

From January to June, the dance programme of the 2025 Season of the Teatro del Giglio will stage shows of great quality.

8:30 pm - Teatro del Giglio Puccini | Trilogia dell'estasi by Roberto Zappalà

Before the performance, at 7.30 p.m., Roberto Zappalà (artistic director and choreographer of the Compagnia Zappalà Danza) will meet the public in the theatre's foyer. With him will be Francesca Pedroni (journalist and dance historian).
Participation in the appointment is free, subject to availability.

A dramaturgical collaboration by Nello Calabrò, the Trilogy of Ecstasy brought to the stage by the Compagnia Zappalà Danza, is based on three very famous compositions that have marked the musical and choreographic path of the last century: the Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune by Claude Debussy, the Boléro by Maurice Ravel and Le Sacre du printemps by Igor Stravinsky.

L'après-midi d'un Faune, Boléro, Le Sacre du Printemps (trilogy of ecstasy) are the three creations that make up a single performance, held together by the common denominator of Zappalà's clear and wild language.
