Small portable handcrafted cribs, the result of a great passion and devotion, made by citizens and collected by the choir from Lucca Il Baluardo for the 11th edition of this unique exhibition-contest of transportable cribs in the church of Santa Maria Corteorlandini, called by locals Santa Maria Nera, from December 8, 2024 to January 8, 2025.

The popular jury contest will include the awarding of a prize in memory of the great nativity artist Rovaldo Taddeucci.

This year there will also be an exhibition of artistic nativity scenes by Claudio Terreni ‘Christmas in the Heart’ in the Chapel of the Snows
All the nativity scenes in the church will be open to visitors on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 16:00 to 18:30, from 8 December to 6 January
