One of the most famous and oldest wine festivals in Tuscany opens this year with a concert by the Filarmonica Giacomo Puccini of Montecarlo.
Twelve days of tastings, entertainment, shows and music, from 28 August to 8 September, among the food and wine stands in Piazza d'Armi, Piazza Garibaldi and the streets of the historic centre.
Wine is naturally the star of the show. In the cloister of the Pellegrini Carmignani Institute, there is an initiative called “i viticoltori si raccontano” (winegrowers tell their stories).
