Lucca Film Festival presents the exhibition Anni '80s Effetto Cinema, curated by Alessandro Orsucci, from September  6 to 28 in the limonaia of Palazzo Pfanner.

From film posters to vinyls: the best of 1980s cinema among the most important films, genres, actors and directors of Italian filmography.

On display there are original posters, playbills, photocards and sketches that were part of the advertising material from the time of the films' release, all from the rich collection of Alessandro Orsucci from Lucca.

Great space is dedicated to the music of the films, with a unique and monumental presentation of original soundtracks on vinyl, together with books and musical scores.

Special focus on Stefania Sandrelli, great icon of Italian cinema and special guest of the festival, who will visit the exhibition on September 23.

On display there are the posters of Ecceziunale veramente, La chiave, Una donna allo specchio, Mi faccia causa and the original vinyls of the soundtracks of her filmography, from Il Federale, a vinyl pressed at the time in only a thousand copies and the first soundtrack by Maestro Ennio Morricone, to Divorzio all'italiana, Sedotta e abbandonata and La famiglia.

There will be a roundup of titles celebrating the Vanzina family: Arrivano i Gatti, Una vacanza bestiale, Viulentemente mia, Yuppies and Sapore di mare, whose fortieth anniversary it is.
Finally, a tribute to the great Italian actors of this period, such as Carlo Verdone, Christian De Sica, Eleonora Giorgi, Ornella Muti, Massimo Boldi, Renato Pozzetto and Diego Abatantuono. As well as the films that they starred in and that marked the unforgettable decade, including Un sacco bello, Borotalco, Compagni di scuola, Il Marchese del Grillo, filmed in Palazzo Pfanner, C'era una volta in America and many others.

The exhibition can be visited every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
