Palazzo delle Esposizioni. Piazza San Martino, 7 - Lucca
Il mito tra sacro e profano nelle opere di Elio Lutri e Stefano Carlo Vecoli (Myth between sacred and profane in the works of Elio Lutri and Stefano Carlo Vecoli), curated by Riccarda Bernacchi, brings together the works of Lucchese engineer, lecturer and artist Elio Lutri and Viareggio writer, architect and painter Stefano Carlo Vecoli, whose creations have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Tuscany and Italy.
The exhibition, from 21 June to 3 August 2025, presents a corpus of more than 50 works that tell the story of the encounter, which took place at a mature age, of Elio Lutri and Stefano Vecoli: an engineer and an architect who came to know art in a personal way, discovering it as a means of expression of their own vision of the world. The exhibition narrative unfolds by focusing on the narration of myths, yesterday's and today's, expressed through images. Suggestions capable of opening up new scenarios, possible openings in our inner world, giving a new reading each time depending on the particular moment we go through in the ‘here’ and ‘now’.
The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday at 3 p.m. / 7 p.m. Opening on Saturday 21 June at 6 p.m.
