Labyrinth is the title of the group show by artists Moneyless, Sten Lex and Tellas, an exhibition spread in space and articulated in time, from May 6 to October 15, curated by Gian Guido Grassi.
The title of the exhibition is inspired by the labyrinth, one of the symbols of the city of Lucca carved in stone on the facade of the cathedral of San Martino.
From May 6 to June 25 (Tuesday through Sunday, 4 p.m. / 8 p.m.) Labyrinth takes the form of an indoor exhibition of works by Moneyless, Sten Lex and Tellas collected at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Lucca.
During the months of June, July and August, the exhibition crosses the threshold of the palace to fill and color different places in the city with live performances, surprising installations and open-air works: from the ramparts to the basement of the Walls, the former Manifattura Tabacchi in Via Vittorio Emanuele, Porta San Gervasio and Porta dei Borghi, as well as the niches of churches and historic buildings.
From September 2 to October 15, the monumental naves of the Chiesa dei Servi will host a site-specific installation, choral work by the artists involved, also opening to educational activities dedicated to schools.
In parallel with Labyrinth, Moneyless is engaged in an urban regeneration intervention in the San Filippo neighborhood to transform a playground into a work of art, painting the surface of the basketball and tennis courts and that of the playground.
